sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 14-ounce wheel Brie cheese

4-ounce
packages garlic and herb semisoft cheese
1 egg, beaten
to blend

Lightly flour a cutting board or similar
surface. Place puff pastry on floured
area and gently remove fold lines. With
a rolling pin, roll dough to ¼ inch.
Place Brie in center of pastry.
Spread one package of semisoft cheese on Brie. Turn Brie over. Spread
remaining semisoft cheese on second side of Brie. Bring up around sides and over cheese. Seal cheeses completely and trim off any excess pastry. Reroll pastry scraps and cut out decorations
to place on top of pastry, if desired.
(Can be prepared one day ahead of time up to this point and
refrigerated.)
Combine egg and water. Brush over top.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake pastry until golden brown, 30 to 35
minutes. Best when served warm.
