1 8 ounce package cream
cheese, softened
3 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla- NO
extract, the real stuff
3 eggs
1 15 ounce package Pillsbury
Thick ‘n Fudgy Hot Fudge Swirl Deluxe Brownie Mix (available at Costco although
any brownie mix can be used)
¼ cup oil
1 Tablespoon water
½ cup chopped nuts (pecans,
walnuts or almonds)
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine in medium bowl the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and 1 of the eggs;
beat until smooth.
Mix together the brownie mix, oil, water and remaining two eggs. Do NOT over beat.
Spread half of the brownie mixture in the bottom of a 9x9 pan. Spoon and carefully spread cream cheese
mixture over the brownie layer. Top
with remaining brownie mixture. Spread
evenly and sprinkle with the nuts. Bake for
40-50 minutes.
Warm hot fudge topping packet (if using Costco brand) or warm any type of
hot fudge topping to
drizzle over baked brownies.
